What Is Chronological Age?

Where it is required:

The convention is that you are 8 years 3 months old for the whole of that month, not rounded to 8 or 8.25. Assessment manuals normally want the figure written as years;months — so 8;3 — and many specify that days are truncated rather than rounded up.
